How the Scam Works
One or more scammers claiming to be Adam Back (Blockstream CEO) are reaching out to users via Twitter DMs.
The scammers send their potential victims an “investment plan” – a list of options ranging from 1 to 16 BTC, each promising earnings higher than the initial investment.
This scam is intended to trick individuals into sending bitcoins to the scammers’ addresses – the promised returns would likely never be paid out.

Dr Adam Back is an applied cryptographer and the co-founder and CEO of Blockstream.
Adam Back will never reach out to anyone over social media to request investments.
